End of Key Stage 2 results 2016

Children at the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6) have tests and assessments in Mathematics, reading and grammar, spelling and punctuation. In addition they are teacher assessed in their writing. The latest results for these tests and assessments are summarised below:

End of Key Stage results 2015

Children at the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6) have tests and assessments in Mathematics, English and Science. The latest results for these tests and assessments are summarised below:

  • 83% achieved the Y1 Phonics screen. This was 6% above the national average of 77%.
  • 74% in EYFS achieved ‘Good level of development’. This was 8% above the national average of 66%.

Children are expected to improve atleast 2 levels between KS1 and KS2. Based on 2015 results, the percentage of pupils making expected progress (with 2 or more levels of improvement) were as follows:
