Year 6 had a fantastic trip to RAF Cosford as part of their topic work on The Battle of Britain. The children had the opportunity to look at artefacts from WW2 and learn about pilots from the war. In addition, they had the opportunity to look at a variety of aircraft both from the modern era and also planes that took part in The Battle of Britain itself, including the oldest surviving Spitfire. The children had an excellent day and their behaviour and enthusiasm was outstanding.
