The National College for Teaching and Leadership have designated St Mary’s as a National Support School. This is official recognition that St Mary’s has a proven track record of outstanding leadership and management, achieves outstanding results for the community, and a track record of helping other schools to improve.
This designation comes in conjunction with our Headteacher, Deidre Reeves, being appointed a National Leader of Education.
We are delighted that the work all staff at St Mary’s have been doing for some time now has been recognised at a national level. Ofsted has judged St Mary’s to be an outstanding school and with this new status, we now have the opportunity to expand the support we are giving to other schools. At the same time, we contiue to keep improving the quality of education we provide for all our pupils.
