Over the past couple of weeks children from Years 3,4,5 and 6 have competed in the Tameside Tennis competitions against other schools throughout the borough. Last week three teams from Years 5 and 6 competed and performed exceptionally well.
This week St. Mary’s took three teams from Years 3 and 4 with great success. One of the teams got all the way to the finals, before eventually losing a very tight final match on overall points difference, finishing runners up.
