Year 6 enjoyed a very exciting morning when a Viking came to visit to explain what that time period was really like. Not only did the children get to observe how fires were made and try on the extremely heavy, chainmail armour, they also learn about how they lived and why they were such successful travellers, traders- and also raiders too!
