On Wednesday, the children enjoyed a trip to Standedge Tunnel. They learnt about the different features of a river, and constructed their own river model. The children also learnt about how canals were made and made their own canal models. Lastly, they really enjoyed a boat trip through Standedge tunnel which is the highest, longest and deepest tunnel in Britain.
