Well done to St. Mary’s cheerleading squad who achieved a magnificent 5th place in a national cheerleading competition on Saturday 21st June at the Velodrome, Manchester. The girls competed against over 80 schools from throughout the country and managed a fantastic 5th place. Well done to everyone who took part and also to Mrs Evans who gave up her Saturday to attend.
Congratulations to the St. Mary’s Cheerleading team who came first in the annual TCSSA Cheerleading competition. The event was held at All Saints High School in Dukinfield against 8 other Catholic schools from around Tameside. It was a fantastic result for the girls who have worked really hard with their coach Amy-Lou, and really deserve their success. Last year the girls were joint winners of the competition. Well done girls!
