As part of our People Who Help Us topic, F2 have been learning about firefighters. This week, a mystery bag was left in our classroom full of equipment and we had to guess the job… and it was a firefighter’s bag! We have been learning about the important work that firefighters do. We have been lucky enough to meet some real firefighters, see their fire engine and have a go at spraying water from the hose! Back in class, we painted fire engines using photos for reference and drew and labelled firefighter equipment using phonic knowledge.
