This term Year 3 are learning about rocks, soils and fossils. This week we have started to explore different characteristics of rocks by looking closely at ‘Sweetie Rocks’. The children were all given a range of different sweets and had to classify the sweets into groups according to different criteria. The class really enjoyed the activity and used fantastic vocabulary to describe each ‘Sweetie Rock’.
