This week, to mark the start of Advent – each class has received a ‘Travelling Crib’, this contains a nativity scene, a candle, instructions/prayer card and a book to write a special prayer in. Each night, throughout Advent, a different child from each class will take the travelling crib home to share with their family. The travelling crib represents the journey Mary and Joseph made to Bethlehem, and as a family help us to remember the true meaning of Christmas.
