Y6 trip to Park Bridge.

Year 6 enjoyed a wonderful, if very cold day at Park Bridge on Wednesday. With the help of John the Park Ranger, the children learnt about the river features, rock formartions, erosion and the wildlife. They also drew pictures of the river and wrote poems about the river and the day. in the afternoon, they used nets to look at river water more closely and tested the speed of the water with the help of some oranges. The children were extremely well behaved and had a fantastic day, despite the cold and some rather wet feet by the end of it.
