In F2, the children will have the opportunity to learn and play together. Our curriculum is based on a balance of child initiated opportunities and play based learning, alongside adult led focus activities and sessions. We have a thematic curriculum based around exploring the wonderful world around them.
Please ensure that the children come with a suitable coat each day. In EYFS we play outside each day. In hot and sunny weather please send the children with a sun hat and wearing sun cream. In cold weather they will need hats, scarves and gloves.
The children must bring a water bottle daily (fresh water only, please)
Please can your child have a pair of labelled wellies in school for access to our outdoor space in all weathers.
P.E – Our lesson is every Monday. Please ensure that the children come to school in their PE kits on this day – PE kit is White t-shirt, blue shorts/leggings/joggers (no stripes or patterns), black pumps or trainers.
Please ensure that all items of uniform are clearly labelled with your child’s name on.
Reading – reading books will be collected on a Thursday and new books sent home on a Friday. Please practise reading every day: little and often is the key! Please sign yellow books each week and make a comment about your child’s progress.
Class Library: Class library (reading for pleasure books) are sending home every Thursday for you to enjoy sharing with your child. Please return on the following Thursday.
Creative homework: Your child is invited to participate in a creative homework task each half term. Please see Tapestry for details.
