On Monday, Year 4 were extremely lucky to have a Roman soldier visit their class to tell them all about what life was like over 2000 years ago. With a classroom full of artefacts and many thrilling tales, the soldier had them enthralled by describing what the Romans were actually like and how they invaded and took control of over 30 countries. They learnt how the Roman empire was formed, about different types of soldiers, the jobs they did and what armour they would have worn. They had a fantastic time!
