Throughout the first half term in EYFS we have thought about the topic of “Ourselves”. We began by thinking about how we are all different and special through the story of Elmer. Next we thought about our bodies through the story of Funnybones. Finally, we followed the children’s interests (they are animal mad!) by exploring the story of Dear Zoo. We have also been exploring our similarities and differences and exploring our five senses. Most importantly, we have been getting familiar with our school rules and routines, getting to know each other and making good friends. We are looking forward to exploring our new Autumn theme during this half term.
