Post 1: KS1 (Part-time / term time only / Fixed term contract until 31st August 2022)

The Governors of this popular and successful school invite applications from positive, highly motivated Teaching Assistants to work under the guidance of a teacher initially to support SEND pupils with social and communication challenges. Applicants for this post are required to have previously worked in a similar role. The successful candidates will have a good understanding of SEND and will involve flexibility and patience to meet the needs of the child she/he is supporting.
This role will also involve supporting the teacher in the classroom and supporting children with their learning in 1:1 or small groups. Knowledge of a range of primary based interventions will be an advantage.
