Year 5 STEM project at St Thomas More

Class 5H are taking part in the Science, Technology and Maths (STEM) project at St. Thomas More. The aim of the project is to develop the children’s problem solving and collaborative work skills.  The project involves a series of lessons centred around design and build tasks.  Their most recent visit involved planning and designing a Formula1 car and race track.  The children are certainly enjoying the project and they have developed a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving and collaborative working which is great to see.

Our Y5 pupils have been excellent ambassadors for St. Mary’s recently.  Congratulations to all our Y5 children for all the positive feedback which keeps flooding into school.
